Biography

Renata Mangueira de Souza has over 29 years of experience in civil litigation, with a specialization in Family and Succession Law. She served on the Ethics and Disciplinary Tribunal of the Brazilian Bar Association – São Paulo Section (OAB/SP), where she acted as Rapporteur of the 5th Disciplinary Panel from 2006 to 2013 and held the same role in the Deontological Panel from 2014 to 2024.

She also served as Vice President of the Tribunal from 2019 to 2021. In addition to her work on the Ethics Tribunal, Renata is a member of the São Paulo Lawyers Institute (IASP) and the São Paulo Lawyers Association (AASP). She actively contributed to the OAB/SP Citizenship and Social Action Committee through the “OAB Goes to School” project. In 2021/2022, she was part of the Campus Council (CONCAM) of the Federal Institute of Education – São Paulo Section, as a Civil Society Consultant Member. She currently holds the same position for the 2024–2026 term.
